textures aren't too hard. i usually just grab 4-6 different textures (some behind the scan, some in front), then just start playing around with blending modes and opacity. i rarely have to do more than that but sometimes you might have to add a filter to 1 or 2 textures. textures can end up making the wall a big file size, so make sure to fool around with the 'save for web' feature.
